Jeremy Lurgio:

I am a photographer, a storyteller and a New Englander, for what thatŐs worth. I was born and raised in the small town of New Boston, New Hampshire. I took my first pictures in high school and let me tell you they were not very good. Out of rolls of junk I did find one nice close up of my mother's dog. She loved it.

I graduated from Wesleyan University in 1995. I lived in England and traveled throughout Asia and when I returned I realized photography was my calling. Of course I was still only happy with about two of my pictures. I studied documentary photography at the Salt School for Documentary Field Studies in Portland, ME. Now, I continue to shoot rolls of junk but there are more shots now. I hardly believe I am finishing my graduate degree in Photojournalism at the University of Montana. I will miss Montana.
