Before Central High School's graduation, Michael Vigil helps his fiancee, Paula Lund, with her silver sash. As Silver Cord Seniors, both wore silver sashes in honor of their academic distinctions. Vigil plans on studying business at USC and Lund, who has been working at Cost Cutters, hopes to eventually open up her own hair salon.
