The
United States is a complex place, full of people with different
ideas, tastes and traditions. There are so many that we
often overlook the details of a group of people. We try
to define them with broad generalizations that often overlook
who the people truly are and how they live their lives.
I spent a semester documenting life of the
members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity House at the
University of Montana in Missoula. I wanted to see for myself
what it was really like to live in a fraternity by getting
past the surface and looking at the details. I wanted to
document their true life.
